Why is it so hard to follow a fitness plan?
Most people pledge around the first of the year to work on their fitness. It’s their new year’s resolution and they plan on following through with it no matter what…this time. That’s right, most people make that same resolution, to work on their fitness, and some do. The problem is often that the resolution fades away after a week or two. Why is it so hard for people to work on their fitness? It has to do with our lifestyle, eating habits, but also patience and discipline comes into play.
If we go on a diet and don’t see any results within a couple of days, we get disappointed and somtimes give up. Don’t worry if this has happened to you, nearly everyone has done it. When you work on your fitness it is important to be patience.
If the plan is to lose weight, please be aware of the fact that it wont happen over night. Losing weight is usually the goal of most people when they say they want to work on their fitness. Unfortunately, in our world to many are dealing overweight problems. It comes down to the fact that we are lazy. One other reason is our bad eating habits. Our portion sizes have grown exponentially over the years and the ingredients in our food is more processed than it has ever been in history. It’s no wonder most of us are out of shape.
In order to do fitness the good thing is you don’t need fitness equipment or a personal trainer. It is important that you do exercise to get your heart rate up, it is recmmended to do this 3-5 times per week. The reward by eating healthy, working out regularly, is that you will notice you are in better shape than ever before without any “miracle” pills or machines to do it for you. So there you go you managed to do it by staying focused and by practicing a good lifestyle of choices. That’s the way to work on your fitness plan in order to live longer and better.
