Resveratrol and wine – the latest findings
For years we’ve been told that our health would benefit from drinking wine. Oddly enough, some people thought that it was the alcohol itself that was responsible for the health benefits. They were definitely wrong.
In a recent studies we’ve seen that the real kicker is providing most of the benefits in the wine is resveratrol.
By the way, in a second I’m going to show you why drinking wine in order to get the benefits of resveratrol is a dangerous way to go about things.
For example, if you’d like to know how to get resveratrol into your system without having to do damage to your body by drinking massive amounts of alcohol, then check out this resveratrol and wine article.
I can’t stress how important this is. Please take a look.
But before we do that, let’s talk about what resveratrol is, what it does, and how it relates to wine.
So finally we know what it is in the wine that is responsible for things like the French Paradox and other mysteries relating to how people who eat a less than ideal diet still manage to remain largely free of the kinds of diseases and health problems that afflict so many Americans.
Oddly enough, it wasn’t known until very recently that resveratrol was this powerful. We now know that resveratrol might be many times more powerful than vitamin C as an antioxidant, which isn’t even to mention its effects on helping guard against cancer and slowing down the aging process.
Incredible stuff. Unfortunately, the only problem with resveratrol is that in order to get sufficient amounts of it, you need to drink a lot of wine. This is because in order to get sufficient quantities of resveratrol to get the maximum benefit, you have to drink many, many bottles of wine every day. While this may seem harmless and fun, I don’t think you realize the amount of alcohol you’d actually have to drink, and the other health problems it would cause.
Unfortunately, since you have to drink all the alcohol it’s in that wine, you’re going to largely destroy the benefits of the resveratrol. So that your body winds up having to work even harder to get rid of the toxicity from all the alcohol you have to drink. And once that happens, it’s pretty obvious that you are most likely doing more harm than good, even if you happen to get a nice sized dose of resveratrol in the bargain.
At the beginning of this article I promised that we’d cover some recommendations for getting a good dose of resveratrol safely, so let’s get to that right now. Remember, it’s important to try and find sources of resveratrol that don’t rely on alcohol. So you see, someone would have to drink way too much wine in order to get the full benefits of the resveratrol, and this would do more harm to you in the process. So, here’s what I suggest you do…
Right now, go see this Resveratrol and Wine site, where you’ll get videos that show the best sources for resveratrol. And maybe the best part is that you don’t have to drink alcohol.
